Dr. Rohrich has been recognized as a Super Doctor by Texas Monthly magazine.Texas Monthly’s annual assessment of regional doctors has selected Rod J. Rohrich, M.D. as one of a select few to hold the honor of being recognized as a Super Doctor. The selection process screened over 40,000 doctors in Texas and asked other doctors and medical professionals to nominate doctors based on the aswer to the question:
“If you needed medical care, which doctor would you chose?”
Each candidate is evaluated thoroughly for peer recognition and professional achievement. Some of the indicators include:

- Training
- Professional activities
- Scholarly activities
- Hospital Appointments
- Academic leadership
- Board certifications
The final selection process involves giving points from balloy surverys, candidate research and panel review to determine a final score. Then each candidate’s standing is checked with the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. The candidates with the highest number of points are finally listed as Texas Super Doctors.
